Shorty just had her car impounded and needs our help to get it back before it becomes cost prohibitive and she loses it to Lincoln Towing.

All funds will be used to get Shorty's car out of impound. No funds go to YKMN. If there are leftover funds they will be used to purchase gas cards for Shorty.

Shorty grew up in Seattle. She is 37 years old and became homeless 5 years ago after her relationship fell apart due to domestic violence. She uses her car for income, driving for DoorDash. This is a big moment for her, she can't lose her car, it would be too big of a step backwards.

I complimented Shorty telling her, despite the stress of the situation, she seems like she's holding it together. She said, "I try to stay happy, being angry takes energy from you and I can't afford that. I try to make the best of every situation."

UPDATE: Shorty was able to get her car out of impound because of all of you!!! The total amount came to $301.50, which was less than expected due to not being charged for an additional day and because taxes had been included when initially quoted. The remaining $98.50 will be used to purchase gas cards for Shorty. A heartfelt THANK YOU to this community!!! LOVE.
